All VALK products delivered after 01/01/2022 are warranted for three (3) years from the date of receipt against manufacturing defects. Products delivered before 31/12/2021 are warranted for two (2) years. The warranty covers the original purchaser only. The warranty does not cover defects caused by incorrect use of the product and/or handling of the product other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics or operation. In such cases the customer shall bear the costs of repair. They are therefore excluded from the warranty:

1. Defects and damage caused by external events, accidents, wear and tear and by assembly or use not in accordance with the product instructions, such as sitting on the edge of the chair without touching the backrest, leaning forward without all wheels touching the ground or applying more weight than the maximum recommended.

2. Products modified or repaired by the customer or any other unauthorised person.

VALK undertakes to send the necessary spare parts to replace the damaged parts at no cost to the customer. If it is not possible to solve the incident with the delivery of spare parts, VALK undertakes to replace the product, reduce the price or terminate the contract, which will be free of charge for the customer and will be carried out within a reasonable period of time. The termination of the contract shall not apply if the lack of conformity is of minor importance. The delivery of spare parts or a new product to replace the damaged product does not extend the original warranty period. If a defect is detected in the product during the warranty period, the consumer must notify VALK using the form, and it is essential to attach the necessary photos or videos to clearly describe the problem.

VALK will review the case and propose the most suitable solution, with priority being given to sending spare parts to replace the damaged parts.

If the defect is detected within 30 days of receipt of the product, the customer may also choose to exercise his right to return the product, in this case without any cost associated with being a non-conforming product.

Returned products will be checked upon arrival at the VALK warehouse, and if it is proven that the returned product is not defective, damaged or incorrect, VALK reserves the right to deduct from the refund to the customer, the cost of return transport.

If the product arrives physically damaged by blows during transport, the consumer must notify VALK within 72 hours of delivery by filling out the form.

It is essential to attach photos that clearly illustrate the damage caused to the box and the product, and where the transport label can be seen:

1. Photo of the complete box where the damage can be seen.

2. Photo of the inside of the box once it has been opened (to see that it was correctly protected).

3. Photo showing the transport label. Several sides of the box should be visible, both close up and from a distance.

4. Photo of the damage caused to the product, inside the box.

5. Photo of the damaged parts in the same photo.

6. Zoom photo of the damage.
