At VALK we keep it simple: if a chair is designed only to “look gamer”, sooner or later you’ll feel it. The Freya Elite starts from ergonomics: a tall backrest, softened shoulder area, and a wide, flatter seat that gives you room to move without feeling boxed in.

It’s recommended for users from 170 to 200 cm and supports up to 150 kg. And to switch modes (work / play / chill), it offers backrest recline up to 160° plus a tilt mechanism up to 25° with lock—so you’re not forced into one “perfect” posture all day long.

Viscolatex pillows: fewer straps, more stability

Pillows are often where many chairs promise a lot and deliver little: they slide, they flatten, they end up out of place… or the strap annoys you.

Freya Elite includes a magnetic neck pillow (fast to place, no straps) and an ergonomic lumbar pillow shaped to match the backrest width so it doesn’t shift every time you stand up.

Both use a new-generation viscolatex. According to our internal tests, it offers “up to twice the shape retention” and “65% more durability” versus the previous generation. The goal is simple: distribute pressure better so you feel less fatigue at the end of the day.

Materials and components built to last (for real)

On materials, Freya Elite is built to handle intensive daily use without degrading after a few months:

• Cold-cure molded foam, 60 kg/m³ (seat and backrest), designed to keep its shape and support over time.
• 2 mm steel frame.
• Class 4 gas lift with an 8 cm travel.
• 70 cm aluminum base for stability and a solid feel.
• 75 mm casters for smoother, quieter rolling on different floors.

For armrests, it uses metal 4D armrests (height, side, depth and inward rotation) and adds a very practical detail: magnetic padded covers that you can easily replace if they wear down over time. It’s the kind of thing that extends the chair’s life and saves you from “replacing the whole chair” because of one small worn part.

And finally, the upholstery: a high-performance breathable fabric, soft to the touch and made for daily use. It’s available in two neutral tones: Anthracite Grey (dark) and Mist Grey (light).

Certifications: not “claims”, actual testing

When you’re buying a chair for long hours, certifications matter because they set real standards. Freya Elite is produced under ISO 9001 processes and tested according to UNE-EN 1335, the European standard that evaluates strength, stability and safety in office seating.
