VALK gaming chairs are ready to endure a thousand battles with you. We use quality materials and that shows over time. And if you also do some simple maintenance on your chair from time to time, you'll keep it looking like new for much longer.
First of all, cleaning a synthetic leather gaming chair is much easier than cleaning a fabric gaming chair. In fact, this is one of the strong points of leather chairs. However, it is still a good idea to follow these tips to avoid damaging the leather:
- Mix a little warm water with a few drops of liquid soap. Above all, do not use kitchen or all-purpose cleaners.
- Wet a microfiber cloth and wring out well.
- Wipe the surface gently.
- Dry with a soft cloth.
Remember to wring out the cloth well before applying it to the surface of the chair, trying to leave as little water as possible, especially if the chair has micro-perforated leather parts. After cleaning, it is recommendable to let it dry for a few hours in a ventilated place out of the sun.
The plastic and metal parts can be cleaned in the same way, with a microfiber cloth and a few drops of liquid soap in warm water.
On the other hand, cleaning the fabric of a fabric gaming chair can vary depending on the type of stains you have, but generally speaking, you can use anything from ammonia, to baking soda, to specific products for sofa upholstery. Before you start cleaning, check the type of stains, for example, if they are sweat stains or similar. Here are a couple of references so you can see the process:

Finally, cleaning the wheels can be more laborious than it sounds, especially if you have a pet at home. Cleaning the surface is relatively simple, with a moist cloth, but hairs and dust tend to accumulate on the bearing axle, making it difficult to roll and causing noises when moving. To solve this we recommend using a knife to cut and remove the accumulated hairs, and meanwhile, roll the wheels a little so that they come out. Once cleaned, it would be recommended to add a little soft grease to the bearing axle from time to time.
Last but not least, in terms of maintenance, we recommend tightening all screws every 2-3 months, because if they loosen, the normal movement could end up damaging the adjustment mechanisms of the chair.
We hope that with these tips you can extend the life of your VALK chair to the maximum!
