At VALK we design and build our chairs in Spain, and that includes something not so common in this industry: we keep spare parts for every component in stock, years after you buy your chair. We don't want a 20 euro part to send a 300 euro chair to the trash, so here's the full guide to which spare part you need depending on what's going on with your chair.
Wheels
The quickest, easiest replacement of them all: they snap on with no tools needed, in under a minute. We have sets in 60, 65 and 75mm, in smooth, spoked or hollow design finishes, and all of them use the standard 11x22mm mount that fits the vast majority of chairs on the market, not just VALK.
The full guide, with which set matches each model and how to tell when it's time to replace them, is in replacement wheels for gaming chairs.
Mechanisms
If your chair makes noise when you recline, won't lock at the angle you want, or the rocking has gone loose or too stiff, the problem is usually the mechanism. We stock replacements for all three types we use: butterfly (Nyx and Gaia), multifunction (Freya and Freya Elite) and synchro (Noma, Noma Office and Myla).
Before replacing it, it's worth lubricating it first, often that alone gets rid of the noise. How to do it and the details for each mechanism are in types of mechanisms in gaming chairs.
Pistons
If the chair sits too high or too low straight out of the box, swapping the piston fixes it without touching anything else. We work with class 4 gas pistons, the highest rated on the market, in different lengths:
- Short piston, lowers the seat by about 3 cm, built for heights under 1.65 m.
- Long piston, with 4 cm more travel, for heights over 1.85 m or tall desks.
How to know which one you need based on your height, in choosing the right chair for your height and weight.
Armrests
With daily use, these are among the parts that take the most wear. We sell them individually, so if only one has broken, you don't need to buy the full set. Depending on the model they adjust in 4 directions (Freya, Freya Elite, Gaia and Myla), 3 (Noma and Noma Office) or 2 (Nyx).
Bases
Another part that can eventually need replacing. We offer replacement bases in nylon or aluminum, depending on the model, sturdy and without losing the original chair's look.

FAQ
How long are spare parts available for a VALK chair?
We keep parts in stock for years after each model launches, not just while it's for sale. It's part of our after sales policy: we manufacture in Spain and manage our own spare parts inventory.
Can I buy just one part if only one has broken?
Yes. Armrests, individual wheels or any other part are sold separately, you don't need to buy the full set if you only need to replace one.
Do VALK spare parts come with a warranty?
Yes, 3 years, the same coverage as our full chairs. If the fault is still within warranty, check our warranty page first before buying the part, you might not have to pay for it.
Do VALK spare parts fit chairs from other brands?
For wheels, yes, almost always: we use the market standard 11x22mm mount, with the exception of IKEA, which uses 10mm. For mechanisms and pistons it depends on your chair's exact measurements, write to us with the model and we'll check before you buy anything.
How do I know which part I need if I'm not sure what's wrong with my chair?
Noise when turning or moving, almost always the wheels. Noise or failure to lock when reclining or rocking, the mechanism. Chair sinking on its own under your weight, the piston. If you're not sure, reach out through the Help Center with a description or a photo and we'll tell you.
