Sitting for long hours in a chair can take its toll, both on our body and on the chair itself that accompanies us during the long days of use. It is clear that if the chair is well designed and manufactured, such as our VALK gaming chairs, we will feel less fatigue and avoid back pain. But just as we need to exercise, maintain good hygiene or eat properly, we also need to give our chair a little pampering to keep it in top shape and extend its life as long as possible.
At VALK we are specialists in gamer furniture and we share with you in this article an advanced guide on how to maintain a gaming chair.
We recommend you to take a look at our basic maintenance article if you have not already done it, where we explain the first point you have to do even before starting with the maintenance: cleaning.
Our weight and movements on top of the chair, along with the conditions of the room where it is located (heat, humidity, etc.), make that little by little what was adjusted before, and working perfectly, suddenly moves, makes noise or we do not end up being comfortable, so every 3-6 months (depending on the use we give to the chair) we must re-tighten, adjust and grease the key parts, in the following video we explain everything you need to perform advanced maintenance.
Necessary materials:
Gloves, to avoid getting dirty.
A cloth (microfiber if possible), to clean the splashes or stains produced during the process.
Allen wrench.
Absorbent paper.
WD-40 or Lithium Grease.
If you have any questions please contact us and we will try to help you as much as possible.
